Pick up the glove, or rather the gloves, and get on the ring because Punch Out comes back through the big door! This former success for the NES dates from those times when the fighters still disputed 15 rounds. The last installment of the series returns to give the bell, this time on Wii.
The intuitive control system will take you to the very quadrilateral with a realism never seen before. Throw hooks, right and Star Strokes by shaking the Wii Remote and the Nunchuk, or give it a retro touch by holding the control as if it were the NES. In your role as Little Mac, a good-hearted fighter born in the Bronx, you will have to launch your personal assault on the world of boxing in your eagerness to become an undisputed champion of all categories. You will have to deal with opponents of the caliber of Glass Joe, Von Kaiser or the relentless King Hippo: a total of 13 contestants to which more bizarre they will stand in your way. Each of them will put creativity and do everything on their part to make sure you end up biting the canvas. Fortunately, Little Mac is not exactly lame or manic. With the Wii Remote and the Nunchuk at the ready, dropping punches is a mere matter of trying to hit your opponent while pressing various button combinations. Soften them with shorts by tilting the Nunchuk control lever upwards when hitting, or hitting a well-charged Star Strike by holding down Buttons C or A while releasing the hand.
